Default First Date Flowers Choice?

To start this off, I want to clarify that this is the type of girl who would greatly appreciate flowers, so I am planning on getting some. Thus, no need to tell me that I shouldn't.

I am going on a first date to a nice restuarante tomorrow night. The girl is very sweet, older than me by 6 years (I am 20), and I have known her for just two weeks. I know she would appreciate flowers through discussion we had before I asked her out. I am wondering what kind of flowers I should go with. I think roses might be over the top, but I am really unsure of what is suitable in this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And I know if I don't already state it, I will get the question, so no pictures.

its difficult cause girls usually have a "favorite" type of flower ... just buy something that looks nice.

Don't forget your boardroom appropriate attire! A chick who digs flowers will look down her nose at dress casual!

If you're willing to spend money, buy her the flower that lasts forever.

Single long stem rose. Look for a yellow one with just a splash of red.

No solid red.
