I'm not a huge fan of your line though. I would probably flat call pre-flop, and re-evaluate on flop. We have position, which is huge. Also, we needs stats! If you have been running at 28/18 all day, villain is probably reraising pretty light. Flat call PF, or make a manly 4 bet. Push is viable as well.

I don't completely agree with this. If hero had been LAGgin it up, I think villain's 3 bet range could be pretty wide. When our Hero makes such a weeny 4 bet, I think villain folds maybe 10-20% of this range, purely based on pot odds. This fact combined with our current equity against 99-QQ makes this a push/PSB, imho.
