Re: ok i was VERY lost here
Are you calling the flop check minraise to see what he does on the turn, hoping a heart freezes him up, stacking off, hoping to turn trips, what? Need to come up with a plan, because you have to assume he is shoving a majority of turn cards so you should know it's coming ohterwise you cost yourself an extra 10 bets everytime on the flop... I'd also ignore the stats over such small samples, better to go with your gut on how you feel they've been playing

Re: ok i was VERY lost here
I fold fast he has a set. Stats reads are way less meaningful in NL fwiw. I'd raise more preflop, it's fun to raise fishy limpers more and play bigger pots in position vs them plus it keeps the blinds out.

Re: ok i was VERY lost here
I think you should call the min raise on the flop hoping to see a heart on the turn wich will probably kill the action (if he doesnt have a flush) and gives you outs. As played this turn is a fold

Now fold. NH. [/ QUOTE ] It's threads like these that make me realize how so, so, so incredibly bad I am at NL. At 50NL, you don't think someone plays T9-K9 or a draw like this as often as they have a set? |

Re: ok i was VERY lost here
I don't think anyone but the biggest donk would play T9 this way.
What are you beating that he's playing this way? This is a clear fold IMO. If the turn were a heart though.... |

If the turn was the Kh would we still fold if he pushed?

I think a hand as small as 9T can raise your c-bet, so with TPTK (and a BDFD) I want to see another card and see what he does next. When he open-shoves the turn his range is significantly narrowed, and while its not impossible you're ahead, its very unlikely. After the shove you are behind his range with little chance of improving. Fold. |
