Re: ATs 5bb facing MP raise
Normally this would be a clear fold, but you've got less than 5bb. No more running plays, its time to go for the hail mary. Push and pray

Re: ATs 5bb facing MP raise
I think the vigourish is so important here that I would pass up this one (your about 35% against his range broadly taken and probably even worse like 30% because he raises while he is pretty potcommitted, this often means a strong hand). Still we have 4 people to go before the blinds come to you, I would pray that I get somewhat of a hand and then make move. Other random hands will not be in that less shape then AcTc against some other hands, unless you run into a pocketpair with two undercards or with pocketpair against a higher one + you have then the vigourish. That said calling definitely isn't a lot worse than folding, maybe it's 50/50.

Re: ATs 5bb facing MP raise
Use the hand-converter ... it is much more respectful against all others you expect to take the time and answer your post.

Re: ATs 5bb facing MP raise
I think it is clearly a push at this point. Your fold equity is pretty much going to be gone once the blinds get to you again, and pretty much not respected now. I push every time in this position.

Re: ATs 5bb facing MP raise
I push because of where the big stacks are on the table.
As they are all to your left, they are likeley to be in the blinds when you are in LP, and they are less likley to fold that the others with a similar stack to you. So unless you want to take your chances in EP and take on the whole table you have pretty much no fold equity on future hands. |
