Should I be smoothcalling this flop?
As played, call or fold shove?

It looks to me he either has a overpair or a set, and maybe a straight if he is loose preflop. To this range we are crushed so your fold is fine, I'd probley just smoothcall his raise and see what happens on the turn. Even with your draw if he even has a overpair you aren't getting the right odds to call, so the fold is fine.

actually against his range of 34, 56, 44, 33, 22, 55-88, I'
I have 28% equity, giving me about a breakeven call.

26 to win 58. 10 clean outs, 8 of which to the nuts. I think its a clear call. And no this does not look like a set at all, more like 66 - 99. For exact equite check pokerstove, its really just a simple math problem.

I call, your set outs are most likely good and rarely you will be ahead.

I'm not really sure this is an OP if 66-99 are in his raising range, and I can't really see a decent villain going nuts on this board given hero's action with those holdings. He limped UTG which given his stats is probably a pair 22-55 or a connector, I really think villain hit this flop VERY hard.

At best I would say this call is neutral EV, I would avoid it.

In the hand, I tanked and used my timebank all the way down, I knew it was really close mathwise but I was not sure if hands like 34, 56 etc. were within his range to limp/call with OOP. This changes the range, and I ended up folding because it seemed about breakeven.
results:
villain showed 34, meaning I should've called, with 13.5 outs to beat him

usually when someone donkbets like this into a pf raiser when theyre okay-decent postflop its a pretty big red flag of strength. (2 pair/set) id prefer a smooth call here on the flop and re-evaulate the turn if he decides to bet strong into you again. if he checks i check this spot about half the time and bet the other time but its really situational.

i dont see him/her doing this with a straight here because people at 25nl are atrocious for slowplaying hands thinking theyre getting cute with their set/straight/nuts.
