NL50 - TTT on the 3Flush flop - Bad play
Only 5 hands I have played with this player.
I don`t like how I have played this hand. I think I had to bet 6.50$ on the flop. But what to do after it I don`t know. When I bet turn I thought I will throw my hand away if he raises again but I could not do it. 5x UTG? It's a formality I guess, but I like to keep it 4.
But yeah, 3b flop AI. |

Re: NL50 - TTT on the 3Flush flop - Bad play
Shove flop.
I used to play these situations a bit scared, the majority of the time you are beat but a boat draw is actually a fairly powerfull hand, betting the turn is bad as it is so unlikely that your hand is good but you give yourself odds to call a push. calling the flop and folding the turn is better than calling and donking but you will be folding the best hand often, combine your made equity with your suckout equity even a turn fold could be a mistake. On the flop however it is very unlikely to be a mistake getting it in, when behind you still have 35% equity, after villains raise there is $20 in the pot and he has $29 left, even if he calls 100% of the time you can still push all in here, add the fact that he sometimes has Ax [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and it becomes +EV to push. |

Re: NL50 - TTT on the 3Flush flop - Bad play
Can you please tell me what does it mean SHOVE? As I understand it is raising, but how much?
And again, if 3bet, should it be flat 3bet? Like: Hero bets $4.50, BTN raises to $9, Hero raises to $18 ? |
