***Official 2006 NLCS Cards v. Mets Thread***
A replay of 2000.
Looks like the Mets rotation will be Glavine/Maine/Trachsel/Perez, unless Willie decides it's better to keep Trachsel at home and on regular rest. What's the Cards rotation gonna be? Carpenter in Game 2 on short rest, or Game 3 on extended rest? Looking forward to it! LET'S GO METS GO! |

[/ QUOTE ] well, that list has five guys that can only play outfield and first base. floyd probably won't be able to go, so that will solve that problem. |

[/ QUOTE ] Mike Francesca said tonight that Floyd will be out. Lastings Milledge was called up. Just adds to the Mets speed but takes away their power. Man, Milledge should have been traded back in July huh? Oh well, maybe he has a hell of a NLCS. |

Re: ***Official 2006 NLCS Cards v. Mets Thread***
Can someone tell me why Perez starts ahead of Dave Williams? I like Perez a lot -- for next year. But I don't think you want to take the chance of him starting a game in the NLCS unless you're up 3-0; and if he gets pounded and has to be pulled in the first couple of innings, you could damage the guy long term. With one exception, Dave Williams gave the Mets everything they should need in this series: 5 to 7 innings, 3 or 4 runs.
