I dunno, I think ElD forum should stay what it is. Those that don't know about it will be newbies (maybe?) and stay away. Then once they lose their guppiship they will come stronger and wiser.

i really, really strongly think you shouldn't change it.

you have this aura of mysticism about you, and when you're gone, people will still post here, and those who remember will fondly reminisce and tell stories of your legend

like an old folk tale. plus, anyone pimp enough to get their own forum like this should have their name stamped across it, imo

[/ QUOTE ]

In case you didn't get my point...don't change the name. The title of this forum alone tends to keep the crowd a little more veteran in here. I agree that the "mysticism" of the forum's name is a large part of the cause for the type of discussion here...there's a person whose posting quality you need to live up to....or earn the respect of...or something like that. Just leave it what it is.

BUT...if you HAVE to change it...

Agree with KRANTZ, ja, etc. that the name should stay the same.

Unlisted

And seriously, take links to it off the site. If you know that it's here, then you can find it. New posters will eventually find it for themselves, despite the lack of a link to it anywhere.

Right now I don't spend as much time in here as I probably should. I get sidetracked dicking around in OOT.

How bout just changing it to the letters EDF that don't mean anything, like a lot of companies do for some damn reason or other (e.g. BP, UBS). Later, when the newbies ask what EDF stands for, we can all belittle them for not being leet like us.
