Default Blasphemy challenge for ACerists

You probably've heard of the Blasphemy Challenge.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blasphemy_Challenge

It's about atheists speaking out against factual religion.

There is some talk from people I know about wanting to do the same thing, but for market anarchists.

Would you be willing to do it?

What blasphemy could be "unforgivable"?

Our state will let you say anything... as long as you keep paying the taxes.

But that's no blasphemy against *the state*.

The state is completely dependent on the belief in the state. This is why openly renouncing the belief could be very powerful for the collective waking up.

"I HATE THE STATE AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!!! Oh, April 15th again? Here you go."

I'm sure the state would really worry about you.

What a lame passive aggressive post. The point is to get more activism going and further the disbelief in the state. Not just me. But considering you could have and probably did figure this out, it probably is just a childish bullying post.

You're now on ignore.

I don't think you understand the point of the blasphemy project.

According to christian beliefs, if you deny God, it is unforgivable.

If you say I hate the state, and they see that. Then later on down the road, you go I love the state. nothing happens

That's a good point -- should anarchists declare their hatred for the state, then renounce it at a later date...nothing will happen.

Come to think of it, should anarchists fail to renounce their claims and maintain they hate the state long into the future...nothing will happen then, either.

And really, if you think about it -- should anarchists start such a project, and should "they" see it -- "they" meaning shadowy government figures who apparently will be trolling YouTube searching for anarchists who might disavow their love of the state...well, nothing would happen then, either.

So, in light of all that...

Yeah, I don't think he gets it either.

Yes, and taking that into account, the blasphemers do it anyway, meaning they really don't believe in factual religion. And the point of that is to show to others and themselves that you can wake up from this fantasy.
