I had the chiplead for nearly 3 hours and then proceeded to run bad / play bad. Going to the FT 8th in chips.

Thanks for the sweat Soulman. I wasn't checking up on the thread during the tournament so I didn't even realize who that was.

1st for 3.3k - I haven't WON a tournament in months so this feels great!

I'd like to add that I really think this was one of the best played tournaments of my entire poker career, which is funny considering about 20 minutes into it I was busto in everything else and cursing myself for starting a tournament at 1:00 A.M.

I grabbed the chiplead about 2 hours into this and didn't lose it until we were down to 13 players. I also made a huge comeback at the final table to win and literally owned the entire table once we were 6 handed.

Oh, getting smacked in the face with the deck definitely helped too!
