Sit in seat 1 or 10 (or 9 in CA). When I was at Commerce in Seat 9 a guy in seat 3 complained about the strength of the perfume the dealer was wearing. The dealer turned to me, and asked my opinion. I was fairly intoxicated, though I hadn't had a drink, so I mumbled something about still being alive. So the dealer (who was attractive) continues flirting with me and at some point I told her I was married thinking that would be the end of it. And she said "Happily?". I thought the conversation was on the QT, but at least two other players said "Well?". LOL. If I hadn't been "happily" married I believe there would have been a happy ending.

You are so funny. Most of the dealers try and run away from you at all costs.

Huck: "what time do you get off work?"
Lady: "not for another 5 hours"
Huck: "damn thats the first bad beat i've had all night"

man thats such a sick line, i gotta use it sometime.

No...it's really not a sick line. It's cheesy. Just like 99% the things you say at the poker table. "Check's in the mail" "Cappucino" "Raisy Daisy" "I'm all......OUT"

Here's a little message to all of you poker macks. The dealer doesn't like you, the cocktail waitress doesn't like you. You may think that "YOU're the ONE that tips her well". ..but that is every guy. They don't like you. They make their money off of being friendly. They get hit on all day long.

Wow, you must've been hardcore rejected or something. You don't think it's possible that maybe some female dealers do find their patrons attractive? Personally, I can tell the difference between stripper style paid flirting and the real thing.

Usually I wouldn't comment on a post like this but over the years I've seen so many guys and dealers and cocktail waitresses hook up that I'll say you are wrong. These woman are just like anyone one else out there - some enjoy being chatted up and want to have fun with a guy and some don't. Some are single/divorced/married but not happy and want to have some action and some are happily married/in a committed relationship and aren't interested. You make them sound like strippers when you write stuff like "They don't like you. They make their money off of being friendly. They get hit on all day long." They are just regular working people.

I think he's basically just trying to warn the OP that you have to realize the dealers and other female employees are naturally going to send a lot of signals that could be taken the wrong way. They might really be interested, but most of the time they are just doing their job. It's not impossible that a female casino employee could be interested but most of the time they are so used to getting hit on that you will want to find an opportunity when they aren't working to make your move.
