By the way seat 3 played (calling preflop, calling 4th and checking 5th) I was nearly sure he paired somewhere along that board. Was I incorrect to keep call 6th and 7th?

You may be right that he paired, but I dont understand betting on 5th street. Seat 7 wont fold to your jack, and you increase pot size while behind. Given the dead cards, seat 3 may have played a64 or a84 passively on 3rd. I would fold 6th street because against a84527 you are drawing to 3 outs. You are drawing dead to a64257. I think you win river less than 5% of time with 9 low.

6s call is OK. On 7th, all he needs is one down card that's an unpaired 8 or better, and I'll guarantee he has it. Fold.
