View Poll Results: When it comes to my luck lately in MTTs I'm in the top
10% - I simply can't lose! 2 3.92%
20% - I'm running REAL good 1 1.96%
30% - I suck out when I need to, and I can't complain over my starting hands 0 0%
40% - I'm probably a bit more lucky than the average player, but it's no big deal 2 3.92%
50% - I'm exactly as lucky or unlucky as anyone else 10 19.61%
60% - I'm not exactly running great, but my disadvantage is probably not bigger than I can make up for it 8 15.69%
70% - I'm running poorly - my tournaments are typically endless variations over hands like 72o, 83o, Q5o, T2s etc ... and when I finally get a playable hand I rarely manage to take down more than the blinds. 12 23.53%
80% - the Poker Gods must hate me - I can't win a 70/30 if my life depended on it, and my KK and QQ consequently goes down to some clowns A4o 9 17.65%
90% - I've pretty much been as unlucky as humanly possible. At this point I have no roll. 7 13.73%

Default WS 1st inn, walk/pitch to manny

ok im assuming everyone who watched game 1 in the 1st inning saw this play. man on 3rd base wtih one out and manny is up ...what do you do , walk manny and pitch to "one ball" mike lowell or pitch to manny. my roommmate and i are arguing the decision.

I almost always hate intentionally walking anyone. It's the first inning. I'd pitch to him.

Normally, I like to pitch to the guy with the infield back in this spot. It lets them know you're willing to give up a run, and even good hitters will often change their approach and take the easy RBI opportunity of an infield grounder rather than swing for the fences. Of course this probably doesn't apply to Manny, but...

I say pitch to him, no reason to open the door for a big inning with the IBB.
