Re: Dear Phil Ivey, I am available for PLO coaching - I think you need it!
Why not just coach him in exchange for him staking you at .05/.10 plo?
Also, and I may be going out on a limb here, Ivey probably has reasons for these plays that may not be apparent to you. Like in hand 1, I'm pretty sure Lars raises with less than huge wraps. Ivey shoves to price out/push his equity against those hands, which probably make up a greater % of his range than wraps/sets. If he gets called, it's prob fine because his equity isn't all that bad. Hand 2, he's obviously repping a big flush or aces/AQ and is trying to move water off of a weaker flush. And uh...he did give it up on the riv. Plz stick to posting hands without comment kthx |

Yeah hand 2 at first I didn't see he had the blocker to the nut flush. But hand 1 does suck as so much will outdraw him.
Kthx |

both hands look fine. the queen is a good card for ivey to bluff on the turn in hand 2.

Re: Dear Phil Ivey, I am available for PLO coaching - I think you need
The big PLO games play very aggressive and if I'm not mistaken I'm sure Lars is a very aggressive player. That being said Lars has a huge range of hands here where he would raise preflop and re-raise a bet on the flop. He might have a naked flush draw, a big pair, a straight draw, or just pure air. I think Phil running into a big wrap + flush draw here will rarely happen. Against a rock Phil is making a big mistake but against an aggressive top pro its a really standard play.
