Default Ok Boys n Girls, what do I do now?

This was a full-ring game that got short. First hand I've posted in awhile but I actually wasn't sure how to play it.

These are unknowns, and this is a short-table, so expect some looser holdings. PFR UTG is certainly quality, but others probably have all degrees of randomness.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, Q.
UTG raises</font>, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold</font>, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 6, 9, Q (5 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero...

I have 2 goals for this hand:

1. Extract the most money from the others
2. Win the hand

These goals almost do not coincide. Flop isn't too scary, so I really don't like betting directly into PFR just to have him shut everyone else out. How about a flop c/r?

I would donk. If UTG is quality he'll be checking when he completely missed against 4 opponents on this board. We also want him to raise, top 2 on a semi coordinated board in a largish pot does appreciate protection, but mainly I think this gets the most value.

That's an awfully big assumption. Still, I like your reasoning. I went the c/r route myself, but I was a little unsure how to play it. I suppose if I had been taking a lot of beats, I would have just donked.

The results are pretty funny, so I'll post those in a bit.

I'd say 90% of the players at this level will c-bet into any number of players on any amount of coordination no-matter their holdings. In fact, a failure to c-bet is a slowplayed flopped top-set (because that's how you slowplay) waaaay more often than wiffed overs.

Here's another interesting observation about the c-bet. Because of the above paragraph, when I'm OOP in an HU or 3-handed situation and I do not c-bet the flop, it really tends to freak people out - I know this because when I insta-c-bet, they insta-call with their air or bottom pair, but when I do not c-bet, they sit there for between 5 and 10 seconds and then check. They're expecting to get c/r'd by AA or something I guess. I've actually saw a free turn/river/showdown with AK on an T7x flop when villian had T8.

Wow, a little over-zealous there.

Yeah, they don't matter. These are funny, though. So, i'm going to post them. They have no bearing on how the hand should have been played - it's not like I'm going to post a bad beat or something.
