-2 loose players limp,I raise J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] both blinds call(small blind is a strong player), and the 2 limpers call(10 small bets). -flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] small blind bets, 1 limper calls(weak player), I call(6.5 big bets). -turn is T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] small blind bets, limper calls -what do you do? |

i would raise the flop. Loose-passive players are not folding over cards here, and certainly not folding a pair. You get a lot of action from hands that are drawing dead.
Given the way you played it, a turn raise is automatic. We have no reason to believe that anybody has a flush yet. that bet could be anything from AJ to JT or 56 or even a smaller set. If you get three bet, call and call a non paired river (i'd call a spade river, but i don't make big river folds for one bet. its probably a leak). The real issue here is not raising the flop. You said l/p, which means there are donking you with a value hand more often then a drawing hand. Not only do you have any hand worth betting here for value crushed, you have them drawing near dead, and will likely get a lot of action. go nuts [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] lf |
