Was there ever a point that Ben recognized that Locke heard Jacob? If so it supports the Ben was faking, and got jealous that Locke heard him = he kills Locke.

I would think that locke with all of his survival skills will pull the bullet out ala sawyer and the island will heal him..

ben already said he was lying when he said he was born on the island. but that was definitely what he did originally say.. he was BORN on the island.. not he has lived here all his life. (well he said both)

Anyone else feel that the last 3 or 4 episodes have been moving very very quickly in the "giving answers" department.

Either way, awesome episode, and next weeks should be great.

Also, Locke is not going to be dead. Ben specifically didn't finish him off. It wasn't typical lame tv don't-finish-the-job. He threatened to finish him off if locke didn't answer, but locke answered, so he didn't shoot again.

2)What was that gun powder stuff Locke came across??
3)What happened to Annie? I assume she dead.
4)No way Locke is dead. He'll be back.

yeah Locke hearing Jacob is clearing too important for him to be offed in this episode. Good theory, Ben was probably faking his whole interaction with Jacob the whole time. He was outed when Locke heard Jacob.

"Help me" was clearly audible. Although, that could've been Ben voice acting.
