[/ QUOTE ]I forget which thread it was in, but when we were talking about whether or not women could give birth on the island and Ben being born on the island, I said something along the lines of "If you were born in California, but moved to NY when you were 1 year old I'm pretty sure that you'd still tell people you lived your entire life in NY even though its not technically true."

Ben knows that he wasn't born on the island because he knows his father was offered a job and thats why they're there.

IMO

When Ben says that he was born on the island I don't think he means literally born, as in mom gave birth. I think what he means is re-born/born again. I could be wrong though.
