updated itunes, now quicktime won't play - WTF?

PC...i try and play a quicktime after update my iTunes and I get this message:

The plugin performed an illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart Firefox.

Okay, I've restarted Firefox, I've rebooted the computer and I still get the same damn message.

Anyone who can tell me WTF is going on?

iTunes updates the QT player & Firefox plugin. Sounds like this part of the installation screwed up. I'd download QT on its own (not bundled with iTunes) and install that - should replace the messed up install.

if you had QT pro, update disables it. You will have to repurchase QT pro.
