Two points:
1) I don't think there should be any railbirding of Wickss during the Sunday Millions. Too much of a distraction for the man.

Word. AIMchat though?

[/ QUOTE ]I vote #STT on IRC.

Virtually no post is greeted with 100% agreement on this forum. The "noise" of discussing a play from multiple players would be counter-productive IMHO.

Plus as always, it's "One player per hand" as they say.

I want to see Wickss (and any other STT'er in the tourney) do well on Sunday. The advantage goes to the player who plays the best.....

Before I read Slacker's post, my thoughts were the same as his. He would be getting so many conflicting opinions flying in from so many angles that it would make his head spin. I could really see that becoming a trainwreck. Probably best to keep more of the "fun" in it.

Also, when this first came up, I mentioned that I didn't want anything even remotely scandalous occuring. Not that IM is scandalous, because its not, but I just wouldn't want anybody beginning to take that too far, and actually be playing his hands for him.

I'm open to more thoughts though.

Yea, I'd stay away from any third party help. I don't know about the ethical arguments behind it. I know there was an article in bluff a couple months ago about playing 'joint sessions', where two players would sit and play cash games together, sharing in each decision. But, this doesn't seem to be in the same spirit. Also, why would the 'expert' advisor do this? I know I don't play many MTTs cause I hate the thought of putting in all those hours just to bust with a small payday. So, why would someone put in all those hours with no payday at all.

When ever I've watched someone play, I usually refuse to give advice during the hand. I'll discuss it after, but I let them make the play they feels is right.

I'm of the opinion that especially while there are efforts going on to try to repeal UIGEA we all have a responsibility to try to prevent any large scandals like last year from happening so Bill Frist and John Kyl have no new ammo. One player to a hand Live and Online should be the standard. Enforceable or not. If you are a Sunday Mill regular who Wickss busts out and know about this thread, how pissed would you be?

I've done the same IM chat coaching thing with a friend. Someone typing "PUSH!" mid-hand is not a good educational tool, it's only about making immediate money. As long as this is going on it should be primarily for fun and for teaching Wickss, not so other people can profit off of him. As much as this thing is a Circus, he's not a Circus animal.
