Raise more PF - typically 4xBB + 1BB per limper. Maybe even more if you are at a loose table.

With 4 players I am probably just giving it up post-flop.
With 3 players a cbet is fine on flop usually.

Raise to $1.50 or $1.75 preflop.

Lead the flop for 2/3 pot.

Check/fold the turn if you are called on the flop.

The others already said to raise more preflop.

I would like to comment on that, because I have the feeling a lot of people are afraid to raise more preflop.

They think this for at least two reasons I believe:

They are afraid to loose more money when an A, K or Q comes on the flop. Simple example: If you raise to $1 preflop, make a c-bet of $1.5 on the flop and get raised, you give up and only loose $2.5.
When you raise to $1.75, make a c-bet of $2.75 and get raised you loose $4.5. So it is better to raise small preflop, even if there are multiple limpers?

No, not in my opinion. This is why I think that (playing 25NL):
Your c-bet will pick up the pot in most cases if you're against 1 or 2 opponents. So you're loosing more when your c-bet gets called, but you're also winning more when your c-bet gets folded to.

The second reason people are afraid to make a bigger raise than normal is because the think everyone will fold to it.
So what?
If there are 3 limpers and you raise to 8BB than maybe you will pick up the pot directly. You win 7,5BB. That's way more than you win on average with JJ. I win 2BB on average with JJ (952 times).
So, if I pick up the pot everytime preflop with JJ and win the big blind + 2 limpers I will be very happy.

Ok, to finalize:
Raise more to thin out the field. You want to play the flop heads-up or to 2 opponents max.
Raise more to pick up the pot preflop. You'll win much more than your average winrate with most hands.
