What if villian will call a bet this big on a draw?

I hope he does because he is making a huge error. I'm probably good enough not to pay him off when he does connect which crushes his implied odds. You can't get married to big pairs and some idiots are just going to chase. You just make the right play and do your best to read their hand correctly.

By making an error yourself, you don't correct his error, you just create a new one.

Lol if Villain is MikeG.

Yeah, I dunno why you'd overbet here, but 30 is the nice price, maybe 35.

Is the OP asking whether you should check-bang on such a scary drawy board since Villain will probably bet any draw but also raise the same? I dunno, its a creepy board against his range but I hate bet folding against guys like this. Check-raise is starting to sound niice.

If you're so sure he is going to bet this cause he's so crazy aggro then I think this might the time to go for the c/r...

Mike Gallo was not the villain. He was observing.

I was fairly certain villain would bet. I decided to check-raise. This was possibly an incorrect line, but it's what I did.

SB: Hero (seat 10): $234
BB: Villain (seat 1): about $245

Two limps to Hero who has K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $16. Villain calls. 2 folds.

Flop ($36): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks. Villain bets $25.

Pot is $61. Hero has $218 behind and is covered.

Hero bets $_______?

I am probably going to be in the minority here, but I think you should wait to make your blow out bet on a safe turn card. If you led and get called, you can shut him out on the turn. It really sucks that you're OOP here.

You're in a bad spot ck-raise wise, you'll probably have to move in here. If you c/r a psb here you don't have near enough to move him off on the turn.

With a board that coordinated, I would not mind winning $20 less bad beat jackpot rake and tokee with an overbet.

You are nothing if not subtle, Mike. I'm surprised you didn't get a "Play at the Borgata" in there, too.

OK, not any responses other than the lone push, so I'll continue.

SB: Hero (seat 10): $234
BB: Villain (seat 1): about $245

Two limps to Hero who has K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $16. Villain calls. 2 folds.

Flop ($36): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks. Villain bets $25.

Pot is $61. Hero has $218 behind and is covered.

Hero raises to $100 Villain thinks for about 20-30 seconds and calls.

Turn (pot $236, Hero has $118 behind, Villain covers): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero ?
