9 handed 10/20 live

CO is a decent LAG 20/40 player

folded around to CO who raises, folded to me in the BB and i call with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] & 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and i check raise.

turn is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] i lead and he calls

river is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] i lead and he calls

Every street except the river is close imo.

At 3/6 I take the same line against some villains, others I give up pre flop.

i really hate your flop CR vs a LAG on a drawy board.

if villain was TAG i still hate your flop CR as it hits too much of his range

if villain was a LPP I still hate your flop CR as he has your crushed pf anyway and isnt folding

in short flop CR is bad vs just about everybody.

PF is standard imo

PF is fine, but you could probably fold.

Does he have a read on you? Does he think you're a donkey, or does he respect your play? If he thinks you're a donkey, your check-raise on the flop might actually take the pot down. If he knows you're not stupid, he's probably not going to give up.

Turn: I like the bet. What were you doing if he raised?
River: Good bet, I presume this is a bet/call?

i usually would fold this PF. However, villain had taken some major beats the last few orbits so i figured his range was quite large.

Villain and i had played quite a bit before and i believe he respects my play.

In that case, I'm with Kit and don't like the check-raise. I'm not quite as down on it as he is, but I think for it to work he's really gotta think you're a loose-passive nit. And even then....

I'd probably c/f it. You're only getting about 5:1 (a little more with the folded sb but minus rake), so I just don't see this being a spot where we'd want to put money in the pot.
