Default $25NL TPGK takes passive line to bluff catch river

Villain is 15/10/2 over 300 hands with a 70% c-bet frequency and a river aggression factor of 4 (I know it's a relatively small sample size, but meh). Thoughts?

I like your play on every street. Above advice is weak tight - you have a vastly under represented hand, I expect to see a bluff here at least 50% of the time, much more than the ~30% you need.

yeah this is a good time to 3bet here PF against this type of player. As played, I would call here on river, but you're going to be beat by the hands that prodonkey posted.

I don't really see the logic in this. If I 3-bet preflop against this kind of player (semi nitty TAG) and he flat calls, on the same flop I'm still not gonna know where I stand, and the pot is going to be 3 times the size. Playing this kind of hand OOP in a 3-bet pot is going to cost us a lot of money to find out that we're beat if this is the case, and if he has nothing he's going to most likely fold to the c-bet, so we'll end up making less money from the hand than in the way that I played it.

If I 3-bet preflop and then c-bet this flop and he calls, the pot is going to be ~$15, which would set up an extremely crappy spot for the turn and river in essentially what is a WA/WB situation.

I think you played it ok.

I don't mind 3bet pf and firing most flops.

FWIW - if I was villain I would expect to get called by A high on the river and would v-bet always.

This doesn't really make any sense to me for this particular hand against this villain. If you are 3 betting is it a bluff? Is it for value? If it is a bluff it isn't a very good one and if it is for value then surely calling can't be bad.

I don't like 3 betting this guy either.

If you are called AQ and AK are about half of his range and you have helped build a pot with him while you are out of position.

OP I like how you played this hand.
