Default $3.40 PS Turbo - Was this bad play on my part?

This is only m first post, so not too sure of any board etiquette. Sorry I havent used a converter, I wasnt sure how to or where to find one.

3rd hand in a 10 seater sng so no reads. What could/should I have done here?

Folding pre-flop is better, but then again, it's a 3.40 and aj might very well be the best hand. But to keep it simple fold pre-flop.

As played bet more on the flop you most likely have the best hand and you bet 100 in a 400+ pot.

Agree with the posters above - fold pre-flop. These are the reasons why; Your hand is not strong, you will miss the flop 2/3rds of the time and - importantly - you can not be sure you have the best hand when you do hit the flop. You are out of position for the rest of the hand - and so have to act before the original raiser (thus having no more info on his hand).... try and avoid multi-way pots, out of position with mediochre hands and your future decisions will become much easier!! GL.
