I dunno, something feels really wrong about 3-bet/folding that turn. Once you 3-bet there it needs to be with the intention of getting your stack in imo.

Not sure whether I'd just call the turn raise or not. I'd say I would, but I might be being results oriented.

I like the 3-bet as well for reasons stated. But it isn't totally unreasonable to question whether an unknown will say [censored] it and 4-bet worse draws and 2 pair a little too often for our liking.

turn 3bet is good, plenty of worse 2 pairs will call and call river, the only bad part is not knowing if this guy happily gets it in there with 87 or T8 etc.

Really? I'd say J9 and 88 only. There's tons of ways of being ahead though. Don't understand why you fear the min-raise, it could be anything from worse two pairs (87/T8/K7 etc) to a combo draw, fd, oesd.
