I agree.
What does everyone do if he pushes flop after you check?

Calling, of course. I doubt he`d push most of the time with a better hand here, maybe with 2Pair on this flop, but certainly not the majority of the time.
I think OP certainly checked, only to induce a bluff...
I actually like to push this flop by myself. Taking it down here should be ok, considering shortie etc...

Why not just push the flop?

If he decides to bluff with a heart on the flop, and you crai, he will have odds to call your push, and you don't want that given the stack sizes.

If he thinks utg is limping wide then checking is absolutely correct because we're certainly crushing most holdings and btw our allin is only the size of the pot so we definitely want to take this down immediately. Given the size of the pot compared to our stack I kinda like checking even though we're calling... I think with the brick on the turn we'll get him to fold hands we don't want him calling with but still call behind often enough for it to be sweeet

Oh, I thought he checked flop so he could shove a non A non flush turn, that way he could get his $ in as a 2x bigger favorite than he would had he just put it in on the flop.

I think I was the shorty in this hand, and when I saw the 2nd biggest stack stack off to the chip leader with TPGK on a monotone board I just laughed and thought "thanks for the money dude".

Seriously I don't think it was that bad. Villian was such a passive fish he could have anything here. But then there are two shorter stacks, including me who has to double up twice to overtake you.

I don't think you could push or call on the flop. If villian calls your push or pushes himself he either has you crushed or has the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and your not much of a favorite.

On the turn villian either has nothing or a v.good made flush. He's betting all other made hands that beat you on the flop.

I think on the turn, given that villian is limping with most hands, you have to push to stop any baby heart hitting the flush. But I think it's a marginal play because of the bubble. If villian wasn't so loose passive preflop I think it's a check fold because of the extreme shorty.
