Default 2 pieces of advice

1. When you are running bad - play shorter sessions and move down in limits.

2. When you are on a heater, play extremely long session. Play until you cannot physically play another hand. While I can't explain why this works (especially shorthanded or heads up), its probably a combination of you playing your best, your opponents their worst and your image being perfect.

Both of these are very hard to do.

Post your advice.

but seriously...
1. take your time when making decisions. (Except for the obvious insta fold)

2. Simply playing your hand is a subtle and devestating form of tilt.

2. it's okay to pass some marginal EV (and metagame type) spots at the end of the session.

I do both of those, especially number two, my biggest problem is after a 100BB or so downswing I have no desire to play poker anymore and stop for a week, sometimes even longer.
