6 max NL UTG question

OK, from checking Poker Tracker it's obvious that I'm a loser anytime I play anything less than A-10 in any position. But, what I'd like to know is, is it acceptable to open-raise UTG with AJ?

I play TAG, and my raises are unvaried (with exception, of course) at 3x bb
