Prove it.

sorry, the quota of extensive investigations I am undertaking is gonna be remaining at one in the near future, because 'satisfying conspiracy theorists' isn't on my to do list.

having said that, I'm pretty sure my combined buddy list, none of whom have ever cheated at online poker, has won many millions of dollars more than you have.

It too bad you have to respond to such crap. Anyhow I think I asked a pertinent question earlier in this thread regarding the "audit".
Do you know if anything is happening with this?

Thanks

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, was looking for photos of Tom Scott on Card Player and I found he has one tournament cash listed on Cardplayer.

By the way, Cardplayer also has a sign up link to AP on their front page. Heaven forbid they could miss the chance to make a few bucks.

So I'm growing increasingly pessimistic about this.

Continuing to stonewall seems like basically the correct course of action for AP. I don't see how admission of a coverup of internal cheating can possibly be a good endgame for them. Most players, if they become aware of such a thing - and if Absolute makes the statement, that greatly increases the chances they become aware - are pretty likely to quit, especially casual players. Unlike good players exercising game selection, there probably isn't much tying them to any particular site, and so they're free to go their own way and probably will. Then this would drive away even the hardcore types (e.g. ikestoys) who would have continued risking to play there anyway.

So, let's assume AP sticks to their current level of "it's hackers and we're on top of this." Where is there progress to be made? It seems like some sort of external agency with actual teeth needs to get on it, at that point. The logical choice would be the auditors/KGC. But what if KGC decides not to do anything about it? Who can put the pressure on KGC? Since they seem to have a near monopoly on online poker, a generalized boycott wouldn't work (since it's clear that you can't even get that to happen for Absolute alone.) How bad do things have to be before Quebec police get in on it? The previous thread made it sound like they aren't likely to look too hard, either.

Basically, I guess my concern is that I don't think anything will start happening until the law gets involved, or at least until that's a very serious threat.
