Ok, I'm a big dodger fan. I grew up in Pasadena. I remember dancing and hugging my brother after Gibson's HR when I was 8. This offseason... I'm hoping for not that much to happen...

1b - Loney
2b - Abreu
SS - Furcal
3B - LaRoche
C - Martin
RF - Kemp
LF - Young
CF - Ethier

I know my lineup doesn't reflect Joe Torre's, but I'm excited about my lineup. Fine, Kent starts above Abreu. UGH!!! are you really going to start Pierre above Young!!!! whatever. This is the thread for Dodgers off-season gripes and acquisitions.

What's with all the random LaRoche love? His stock dropped after last season and I think you'd be happy to have him be a league average 3b. That's a very valuable commodity, but not worth losing sleep over hoping to trade for.

League average? I'd think he still projects higher then that.

And even at league average, he'd be a HUGE improvement for the Twins at 3b.

Recheck his minor league numbers and remember that he's got a plus glove. The only people who have lowered his stock are Ned Colletti and the Dodger brass,.

Yep. I agree. I used to be a fan of the Dodgers, but they broke my will to follow them with their horrible front office decisions. Firing DePodesta(sp?) was the last straw. I thought he would stop the stupidity and turn things around, but he was fired. I now hate the dodgers. Unless they get Arod they will probably suck this year, again.
