my generic range im assigning to villian here is 99+, A10s+, AJo+....

what is my raising range?
what is my calling range?

UTG raises $2, Hero calls $2, 3 folds, SB raises to $6, 2 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

I'm calling with 22-99 or TT for set value, raising TT-AA, AQs+.

I'd rather 3b QQ preflop, because he's probably going to let you know whether or not you're behind now rather than later, when the pot is probably going to be much larger. Also, it tightens button's raising range.

You basically played this hand for set value which, against the range you determined for villain, is pretty bad.

I think those raising standards you assigned are a bit tight. Playing full ring I'd open these hands utg w/o question, let alone Shorthanded...

I 3 bet AKo/s, JJ+.... Not much I'd cold call with (edit: mid pp's)



I'm not a big fan of either of your preflop decisions on the QQ hand... not sure what to do on the flop as i'd never be in that situation, but I'm thinking it is a call as played.

Raise preflop all day everyday. If you are 3 bet by LAG and utg TAG is still aggressive we can consider slowing down.
