Taught my youngest boy to ride a bike without stabilisers this weekend. He's so pleased about it, he's got a permagrin

Intersting observation... there is a HUGE Black bird playing around in the tree in front of my house. He's actually trimming the tree by breaking off the ends of weak branches...

Your bird is obviously OCD.

So in preparation for passover, last night we went searching around the house for breadcrumbs with a candle, feather and big wooden spoon.

Vent/Rant! New coworker (replacement) gives his abridged version of life story. Currently hes 23, at 15-16 as a dumb punk gets in a group argument and pulls a knife. Nobody injured, but had a concealed weapon on him. He's looking at two options: Ju-ve hall till at least 21, boys camp to 25, with possible third of being tried as an adult, and full-blown prison for 10 years!

Now his family isnt well off, but they fork out 5k for a good lawyer and he ends up with a deal... he must maintain a job, graduate and has 3 months to prove he's bettering his life.

8 years later, the guy is assistant manager in one job, and pulling a 2nd job, moving up the ladder and planning his future.

What happens if he doesnt pull 5k to play ball in court? Does it make a difference to the overall outlook of this post to find out the young man is hispanic and the 5k meant a helluva lot more to his family than most?
