US members do not need to agree to the Release in order to request and receive the payment of funds. However, US members who do not agree to the Release will, in turn, not be released by NETELLER. |

When US members request to withdraw the funds they will be asked to agree to a Release which, in broad terms, is an agreement between NETELLER and the member that each releases the other from potential legal claims. US members do not need to agree to the Release in order to request and receive the payment of funds. However, US members who do not agree to the Release will, in turn, not be released by NETELLER. lol.......... yeah, who would sign that?! |

None of this will probably happen, but in theory: Don't sign the release: 1. Bad: Neteller or its stockholders could in theory file class action or individual suits because you agreed not to do any illegal transactions as part of their TOC (yeah, yeah playing isn't illegal) 2. Good: if the DOJ decides to go after some people who were sportsbetting or something, you can add neteller as a third-party defendant for indemnification ("neteller knew I was doing something illegal and they helped me do it") You do sign the release: 1. Good: Neteller can't sue you. 2. Bad: If you end up getting raked over the coals at some point by DOJ or IRS, etc., you can't go after neteller ("after all I couldn't have done it without them/they should be responsible...they even plead guilty already") Tough call which way to go IMO. |

Re: So who\'s going to immediately withdraw from Neteller on 7/30?
I don't have a problem signing the release after I have my money. When I get my money I will be happy to be done with Neteller and Neteller done with me.
My problem without reading the release is that if I am not paid that I will have my hands tied becuase of the release. That being said I not going to go after a foriegn company over $1500 |

lol.......... yeah, who would sign that?! [/ QUOTE ] the people who wanna get paid? i cant think why a legit user of neteller wouldnt sign the release. i will guess that the majority of customers are low to high stakes players. only the high stakes players have 6 digits in their account which IMO is poor bank roll mgt. the ppl who dont wanna sign: sportsbettors and CC fraud. |

[/ QUOTE ] An alternate theory might be: why should I release Neteller when I'm not required to do so nor can I be required to do so? If I were a sports bettor or commited credit card fraud, I might very well place some value on a release of claims against me from Neteller since their potential claims may actually have value; if I've complied with their terms of service and applicable law, I instead might place a value of, oh I don't know, somewhere around $0.00 on a release of claims against me from a company that seized my lawful funds for a period of months - and therefore decide not to trade my general release against them for their general release which is worth $0 to me. |
