One more thing:

Raise the flop - pot it or shove?

I'd pot and call a shove.

I am usually on the other end of this line a lot. With the built in outs and an already huge pot, I think its good as long as villains hand distribution doesnt put him on an set or overpair more than Ax.

Looks like villain maybe has AK? The only thing is that the hand distribution means that you are not folding AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT. So either villain has Ax which missed or you are getting reraised all in.

Does anyone not like this based on the possible reraising hand distribution of BB?

I don't like it. What are you trying to represent?

Dude, he has the best hand.

Hold'em Simulation
39,600 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Th4s3s
Hand Pot equity
6s7s 50.85%
AA-JJ,AK 49.15%

Edit: to say I dont really like hero's line either, he should definitely raise flop

[/ QUOTE ]

What about when you put TT into the range. He is already behind then.

As always fold equity is part and parcel of the goodness that is combo draws.
If we raise the flop and villain folds his overcards, great.
If he considers folding his overpair, fantastic. (not likely but...)
If he doesnt fold, we are in decent shape against his range.

Look what happens when we put TT in his range:

Hold'em Simulation
42,570 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Th4s3s
Hand Pot equity
6s7s 49.63%
AA-TT,AK 50.37%

Virtually nothing. Raising this flop against his range is mandatory IMO.

Edit: If we pot the flop, and villain shoves TT+ we can safely call with the money already in the pot.

Hold'em Simulation
26,730 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Th4s3s
Hand Pot equity
6s7s 44.15%
AA-TT 55.85%

Just something to think about, especially when we are playing the same people over and over. Below is the entire range I would b/3b on the flop in this situation. A TAG holding an overpair is in serious trouble.

Hold'em Simulation
330,660 trials (Exhaustive)
board: Th4s3s
Hand Pot equity
6s7s,TT,44,33,5s6s,Ts9s,AsKs 72.06%
AA-TT 27.94%
