Default Live 5/10 Turn Semibluff

Venetian 5/10, 9-Handed. I am fairly new to the table and haven't really played a pot in the ~30 minutes I've sat. Villian is a little on the loose side preflop (calling raises moreso than opening himself) but seems in control postflop.

Hero has 1060, Villian covers.

Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB.

Preflop
Villian in MP raises to 40, CO calls, BTN calls, Hero calls.

Flop (4 players, 160): A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets 120, Villian calls, CO folds, BTN folds.

Turn (2 players, 400): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Villian bets 270, Hero shoves for 630 more.

Agreed...after I made the bet I thought to myself "um, that was stupid"

But then I got the idea to crai the turn which I thought would look really strong. I'm bluffing, I said so in the title, but I'm pretty sure villian lays down any one pair hand, which is a big part of his range and what I felt he had.

you seem to be in an awful hurry to take the probable best hand and turn it into a bluff as fast as possible

i know it's stupid to go PF in MSNL, but i am curious about the PF call? are you playing for Pair value? or is this game really passive and you can get to cheap show down?

or are they that terrible that you can out play them with A5s OOP to 4 people?

live I think you can C/C C/C C/F usually and be pretty happy with it. paying the likely minimum to draw to the nuts as well as turning your hand into a two-barrel bluff catcher.

agree with catcher, as opposed to overaggro online games live if you make your flush any flush will pay you prob for stacks as well as 2 pair hands, sets, etc. people cant fold due to the pace of the game and overvalue the facevalue of hands, so i think c/c c/c c/f is fine.
