[/ QUOTE ] no I run out of goal line, control the clock and play defense. That's hard nose football strategy. Everybody I know plays this run n shoot pass pass pass. Pass first mentality and occassionally runs to keep my defense honest. I think it's cheesy to throw it up to someone with a 90+ catching. I run so I almost never get turnovers and winning that battle is key.

then using shotgun only isn't cheese how? [/ QUOTE ] Because teams will actually run out of shotgun in all areas of the field. No team lines up on first and 10 and runs goaline. You need to have skill to run shotgun, you need to read the defense and make the right reads. In goaline it is mad easy, all you need is a power back who can run over defenders. Running shotgun is not cheese. Running goaline is. Ask any knowledgeable madden player and they will tell you the same thing.
