2007 Goals and Expectations

1. $50k from poker averaging 10-15 hours per week, which would give me the freedom to quit the day job if i chose to.
2. Play loooooow limits at games I am not good at yet
3. Qualify for WSOP main event
4. Play live at least once a month (more difficult than it sounds when you live in Pittsburgh - home games do not count)
5. Be the best father possible
6. Lose at least 25 pounds. Right now I am 6'2" and 225. I have a $2,000 prop bet that i can be under 200 by 3/31/07.

I think my monetary goals depend on how well/fast I move up in limits, but all I really want is to withdraw 100k and have a ~50-100bi roll over the four summer months and put some of it away long term etc.

I don't think I play play that many mtts this year, but when I do, I'd like to do good, which I think means I need to stop making stupid decisions on critical hands.

I really want to log, I dunno, 100k+ hands or something at 2/4 before the summer so I know I'm a solid winner and can keep grinding away during downswings knowing it is variance.

Play less, and for set amounts of time, and get in shape.

final table a sunday tourney, qualify for EPT events and the WSOP main event, be able to go to the WSOP for 6 weeks, play any tournament i like, and still have a decent bankroll if it all goes wrong.

Somewhat similar to timex, I'd really like to focus/play more and start playing some nl cash games. Also, if I could finally win something on stars, and maybe get my stars db into the black, that'd be nice.

Save up money to be able to not work for 2 years while in grad school and finaly close out a large MTT. Also I'd like my first 5k+ cash, if I do that then I want a 10k plus cash. In other words win the STUPER one day!

2007 will def be my do or die year.

I have a bet going on since november, when I had a 10k bankroll, that I will have over 500,000 NIS by the end of 2007. That's about 115k$.

I don't know if I'll be able to do it, i'm at 25k now, but taking some out for the PCA.

Either way, this is my last year of school. I'm finishing my B.A. around september. If I don't reach my goal, or feel like I can support myself fully from poker, this will be my last year playing the game seriously.

Gonna be an interesting ride.
