Default Cypress Bayou birthday trip report (All FREE!)

WARNING! Brag post, but I never post in that forum, so here ya go!

Cypress Bayou Casino sends me a coupon good only on my birthday for $30 in match play. I call my friend who is the marketing director at the casino and score a comp at the fancy/schmancy sushi resturant to boot.

The wife and I head out at 5 sharp. She drives, and I start slamming back Jack Daniels single barrel shots as we drive. We arrive, me already buzzing after the 45 minute drive, and I go to the players card desk to get my 6-$5 match play coupons. I give the wife $50, she heads over to the penny slots, and I hit the $5 BJ table.

I immediately announce to the table, "Its my birthday, I've got match play coupons, so I CANNOT LOSE!", and plunk down my first $5 bet w/coupon. The other players just shrug me off and I'm dealt 20. SCORE! I'm up $10. The waitress comes by and I order a Jack single barrel on the rocks. She tells me that I'll have to pay $12 since they don't serve it on the floor. I tell her to make it strong and I give her a 20 spot. Next hand, 20...SCORE! I'm up $20.

I again inform the table that I cannot lose and the woman sitting next to me ups her bet from 5 to 25. This time I'm dealt 16...ugh. The woman is dealt 11 and the dealer has a 9. She doubles to 21! I hit and catch 20 again! The dealer has 19 and I'm now up $30. The waitress returns, I get more hammered, and proceed to win the next 3 hands, including one BJ, so now I'm up 60 something. I tip the dealer the 10 or 12.50, I forget now, and take my GIGANTIC winnings to find the wife.

She's playing Crabmania and she OWNS the game, hitting the bonus 3 times in like 15 minutes. She's up $60 on a freaking penny machine and hits cash out and we head to the sushi resturant. We proceed to eat our fill of sushi and I continue to drink like a fish. Finally the waitress brings the tab for me to sign, $88 total, and I tip her the $50 bucks I won at the BJ table.

We...I...stumble to the truck, and I proceed to light up a Padron 1926 cigar, much to the wife's objections. But HEY! Its my birthday! We get back to Lafayette and I get to play a different game of BJ....MAJOR SCORE! The bonus there is that I'm so drunk it takes quite awhile.

Thanks for listening.
