You obv. were confident you had the best hand so it appears as though the raise was not in an attempt to push me off a better hand (like QQ).

Actually it was sort of a value bluff... I thought you'd call with a number of worse hands and maaaaaaybe fold QQ/AA, but right after I made the raise, I thought, "Boy, he never folds a better hand here."

So yeah, first I thought I could fold out a better hand, then I thought I couldn't, but you folded, so I thought maybe you had TT or A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q, something like that.
