Villain is a pretty good, aggressive TAG who I play a lot with. I've been pretty quiet. Thoughts after afew reponses.

So if we check and he bets, he has us beat, but if we bet and he raises, we call? Doesn't make sense to me.

jay, could you explain your logic in this hand?

it seems to me that you have a pretty big hand. why turn it into a bluffcatcher?

Insta-call most bets on the river. The hand looks fine.

How often do you check the flop OOP after raising pre against this guy? Does he float you or raise your cbets a lot? That kind of history has a huge impact on whether your flop play is good or not.

why are we check-calling this flop after opening? i agree with goofy that you need to provide some kind of history between you if your going to play the hand in such an unorthodox manner.

as played, i don't see a fold on the river to be very good either

I agree, the hand looks fine, but why aren't we pushing his bet on the river?
