No he actually did have QJ96. I misremembered his hand. He had to have been bluffing.

Why not fold flop if you are sure your opponent has the straight. If the board pairs you are not getting any more money from a straight.... against decent opponents.

Then u play to nittish if ure not able to get value from a straight if u fill up.
