$4,710 for 21,280 points - which basically means I play way too much poker.

Yea, that is a pretty insane amount of hands over two weeks. However, that is also a pretty incredible bonus, especially if you are a gold member.

They offered me $830 for 14,500 points. Does anyone know roughly what rakeback this works out to? Is it roughly 20% (830/14,500 = ~.06 and at max rake of $3/10 players = .30 and .30/.06 = 20%?) Is this right?

$ 560.00 for 4930 points.

I am really struck by the sheer randomness of this program.

(At least it appears very random to me and maybe I don't understand the basis behind it at all.)

From the offers I have seen they range from .046 cents per point all the way up to .255 cents!

26180 pts for $1580

just noticed it's between jan 13-27.

i really killed myself to get 25k pts for a $13.5k cruise package.

will have to analyze further but i can't imagine this offer would actually be worth my time.

[/ QUOTE ]

I win 24,960 points (includes regular, happy hour, and raked day points) gets me $4,120.

11,000 for $1300 is definitely better than my
26,180 for $1580.

[/ QUOTE ]

Screwing you over because of the Cruise thing. Not necessarily directly related, but the fact that you earned the 25k points in December means they were gonna try and "encourage" you to earn even more points in January, wonder what Metetron is gonna be "offered"...

PS - I'm gold.

PPS - 17,777 hands total (accounts for raked/non-raked %) over 14 days. Not undoable by any standard, but this weekend I'll get about zero play in. Still, I'm getting 23 cents per hand from Party and have to do 18k hands in 11 days. No sweat.

PPPS - Holy crap, happy hours DOUBLES the rate I earn points? So 72 points for every 20 raked hands between 1 AM and 10 AM. I could almost knock this out in one happy hours except I haven't been up that late in a long time.

That's just ridiculous.
Must have been the fact that you were solely at 10/20 6-max
(I'm assuming you're gold status now).

wow.

Plus.... they also paid you $2k+ for your December play that you weren't even expecting.

Plus...you were about break-even during your play for the cruise while I lost handsomely.

Plus...I just hate you for getting $2500 more than me while having to earn fewer points.

Plus...I earned the cruise faster than you anyway so I deserve better!!

I'm gold-status now so it still isn't actually that bad a deal even for me (especially with happy-hours points now counting).

With just gold-level double-points (not including happy-hour) I get more than a point per raked-hand even at 3/6.

My offer is about 22k raked-hands for about $1600.
So that's $80 of the bonus earned for every 1100 raked-hands.
A little less than the equivelent of a 14x bonus.

Looked at another way:

7.3 cents per hand

I approximate that to be about the same as 26.7% rake-back at 3/6 6-max (if 5.5 players per hand with $1.50 average rake).
If on 3/6 full (9 players per hand, $1.50 avg rake) that's about 44% rake-back.

And don't forget the additional value of all the cool Party hats you can buy with those fabulous points you are earning!!!

my offer isn't really that good at all but I've decided is still worthwhile (once I remembered that I get double-points for gold-status...that makes a big difference).

Some of you guys who are getting these killer offers are really getting it good on this one.

One minor concern is the effect of all these 2+2'ers invading the tables to clear some of these monster bonuses. Could have an effect on table-rockyness even as big as Party is.
