Any normal human would be burned out after 56 hours/week of absurdly high numbers of .05/.10 limit. I wonder if UB really can detect bots, because this guy really seems like one.

This has been said many times before. The OP is a first time poster!! How many posts in this forum, about getting ripped off by a site, are by 1st time posters? It just makes you wonder about the whole thing.

I did not make $1200...I was withdrawing most of the original $650 I put in and the $650 bonus that I earned. I actually lost money in the end when considering rake. Pretty much it worked out like this:
original $650
+bonus $650
+cash to points $200
-withdrawal -$1200

To those that doubt I actually played 8 hours a day, I have a friend who 12 tables for far more than that. It's entirely possible for a human to four table eight hours a day. I think that UB just saw me playing the micro limits and saw that they were losing money overall so they thought it would be convenient to accuse me of botting and take my money away.

Where has common sense gone? You bang out 8 hours a day 4-tabling at the microlimits to ensure greater than 100% rakeback, cash out everything once done clearing the bonus and you're honestly shocked your account was frozen? On the one in a million chance you weren't actually botting, did you honestly think this was a good idea?

I honestly didn't think about how much rake I was paying in terms of the bonus I was releasing. Either way, I was finished with my bonus, so now I would be playing without it. I don't see how it really matters whether UB was making money off me or not; they screwed me! They confiscated my money and closed my account for taking advantage of THEIR system. Even if they don't like what I did, they should respect it, give me my account money and let me move on. Instead, they accuse me of botting and take all my money. I don't see how that's right...

I think this is an important question! It relly sucks that pokerrooms let suspected botters make them money until they try to cash out thus screwing the regular players. Also it's not a serious way to make business to start hassle players when making the withdrawals most players are sensitive to that kind of behaviour.

I've played on and off at UB for over a year and I have never had any problems at all even though I've cashed out everything on one or two times.

BTW it sure sounds like he's a boter 8 hours a day for hardly any money learning the game??? I could never have done it would never be able to do it for a month.

i think its important to assume this guy is innocent till proven guilty and as shown yesterday, WPEX publicallay accused a player of using a BOT on these forums to then turn around and say sorry, we were wrong. Before WPEX admitted they were wrong about half the people in that thread were saying he is a BOT and i want a share of the money he took off me. They confiscated $4000 but fortunately that player got his money back.

I for one have had issues with UB customer support, not related to anything BOT related but general issues to which half the time i never receive an response.

UB is renowned for crappy support and is one of the reasons i don't play there.

Lessons need to be learnt here.

1. Never keep your entire roll in a single poker account

2. Don't take the micky with bonus's. Bonus abuse is listed in nearly all terms and conditions for poker rooms and casino sites.

3.Poker rooms need to be absolutely certain without any doubt that a player is using a BOT, or they in no way should be able to keep the players funds. The issue with WPEX yesterday was just embarrasing, and as somebody who plays almost exclusively on WPEX has given me concerns should another "mistake" happen on the day i want to cash out.
