Help me find sunglasses..

I love wearing Oakley sunglasses. Comfartable, really dark, well-mad to handle some abuse.

I also am far too absent-minded and not rich enough to own them because randomly leaving $100-$150 a pair sunglasses lying wherever gets expensive quickly.

When I look anywhere for cheaper sunglasses, they are exactly that, cheap. Bad tinting, crappy material, etc.

With any major brand name you're of course paying for more than just the product, you're paying for the name on the product. (See: the vodka thread a while back where Smirnoff, one of the cheaper vodkas out there, won a taste test against all the major "premium" vodkas")

That said, any of you guys know of/recommend a less-well known but still decent quality brand of sunglasses so next time I lose them it doesn't pinch my wallet as badly?

I'm pretty sure Oakley's bottom of the line glasses are $60-$70. Of course they aren't going to be the same quality as their higher end stuff.

Why don't you buy a pair of $300 glasses that way you will just take care of them better? The extra cost will hopefully keep you aware of what you are doing with them.
