Tickets won in Step Sit'n'Go tournaments are good only for use within the
Steps system and are not transferable in any way.

For our PCA satellites, our seat transfer and sale policy is as follows:

1) The first seat you win into the PCA must be played by the person whose
real name is on the PokerStars account. This seat is non-transferable and
cannot be sold to another player.

2) If you are fortunate enough to win a second seat to the PCA, the second
seat will be awarded to your PokerStars account as W$. W$ are special
PokerStars dollars that may be used on the site to enter other W$-based
satellites (basically, any EPT, WSOP or WCOOP satellite on PokerStars, and
any WCOOP main event).

The whole point of Steps is to be forced to play the whole pyramid.
If you allow players to get out your step 4-5 will stop running.
And players are playing for the goal of a high buy-in tourney, with lots of sharks, by choice.
If you want to cash out, then just play regular SnG's.

I still don't understand the 'rake-trap' argument.
If I tried my own personal-steps via whatever cash SNG's I want to play doesn't the rake work out the same.

Some reasons why I dig steps:
- Some pretty good players don't like the idea of being trapped in them. Some of these good players makes the fields a bit weaker.
- The different pay-out structure can really tend to mess up some players who don't know how to properly adjust compared with a regular SNG 50/30/20 pay-format. Their uncomfortability is my gain.

I do think the final step is going to be tough if I'm stuck competing with a bunch of bigjoe type SNG experts. But it's possible this might be made up by the positive EV of the weaker fields in the earlier rounds if I'm correct about that.
Not sure on that though. Will probably play around with them some more and see where it goes.

Please make turbo versions. Just played a couple of sets and want to gauge my eyes out. They are running over a hour long and have a break(WTF) after 1 hour. Must make turbos.

it would be sweet if you could trade you seats back down to a lower level (ie trade a step 2 seat down for 3 or 4 (or whatever) step 1 seats) so you could stack these up like you can with w$ and t$... probably not much chance of this happening though...

This was the thing I liked the least about these. I Just play for fun mainly make a little in the process. I played a few step 1 and 2's last night before I noticed step 6 was 18 players. When I lose all the tickets I currently have that will be the end for me unless there is a 1 table step 6 added. I would like to see 1 table step 6 maybe something like this.

1st - 12000 PCA
2nd - 2100 step 6 ticket
3rd - 2100 step 6 ticket
4th - 700 step 5 ticket
5th - 215 step 4 ticket + $25
6th-9th 215 step 4 ticket

You could change 5th-9th maybe add another step 5 for 5th and make 6th -9th worth less

Oh yeah and definitley turbos at least for the Steps 1 and 2.
