I'm pretty sure I'm +EV in the 109r, but I've never played it.

In Vegas, I was bitching to a lot of people that the bankroll needed for big MTT's + the fact that everyone overestimates their edge vs. the field means that, to play the 1K, you need something like a quarter million dollars, provided you're even a winning player - not extremely likely in that spot, because even the big winners are only going to have something like a 25-50% ROI. There is no dead money in that field that everyone is used to.

Well...the 109r is something like an average $500 buyin, with a tougher field than a reg 1K (no satellites). What do you think the bankroll requirements for it are?

To rehash what everyone else have said, if cash games makes you want to gouge your eyes out from boredom, they're less +EV than MTTs anyway...

He just posted he went down 70,000.00 in cash games. I think it was 25/50 NL.

My original thoughts were he was a pure MTT player or at least in his win/loss statement.

This changes everything. He could very well be a winning MTTer over the last 90 days and probably is.

How many live events has he played in the past 90 days? Also, there was an interesting question in the p5s thread asking if maybe some of his losses were under other accounts.
