Default $33 call AI w/ 22??

Full Tilt (2 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of 30.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises 120</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises 725 (All-In)</font>, Hero ?

is this a standard call here?

1st of all that is really not a standard raise. you should probably be minraising all your hands once blinds and effective stacks are tha size

2nd of all i am confused? did you raise TO 120 then he raised TO 725?

pokerstove: giving villain a tightish range of ATs+, AJo+ 99+ you have a mere 37% equity.

giving them a loose range of 22+ A8s+ A9o+ KJs+ KQo barely changes your equity, it makes it nearly 38%

with the money you have in the pot it is pretty much break even calling EXCEPT I tend to weight their range towards mid pairs, as these are the hands villains love to shove the most in these situations, I would probably fold.

ah okay, sorry, didnt read post close enough (i dont play on sites where they have a 30/60 blind level). hmm, the shortness of the stacks undoes my weighting, and loosens up his range even more, making it a probably call (though as pokerstove shows, its marginal, so fold if you want)

The important thing to remember about 22 is...
If you're calling with 22, that means you're also calling with half the deck. And you're not calling with half the deck at 25bbs deep (I'm assuming 1500 chips each since the converter didn't give stack sizes.)
