Re: PP $11- AK in BB scary flop. c-bet?
your pre-flop raise is awfully big. raising to 300 would make subsequent decisions much easier. if the pot was only 700, you could c-bet, and fold to a push over the top.
if you c-bet now, and your opponent pushes, you're committed anyway. pot is currently 900; if you c-bet 450, pot becomes 1350, opponent pushes for remaining 1300, making pot 2600 - you only gotta drop in 850, and if your opponent has paired, you've got up to 6 outs twice (less if your opponent has KQ, AQ, KJ, AJ, etc). between the FE that you'll get against a pair TT or less, and the outs that you have, and the size of the pot, and the degree of being pot committed to a push over your C-Bet, I'd push that flop. |

Re: PP $11- AK in BB scary flop. c-bet?
raise pf is just fine, you wanna get the hand heads up and its the standard 3x + 200 in limps, and on the flop you should cbet 500 because hes gonna fold around 50% of the time and you only need him to fold around 35% of the time chip wise, and tourney stack wise you are both deep so its a profitable play.
cbet and fold if he comes over the top. |
