Default Re: HSP - Could Elezra get away from set over set?

I folded a set of 4's the other night in a 2/5 NL game at Sandia. The player knows me well and I have never seen him make a move like that without the nuts.

I opened for $20 MP button called blinds folded. flop was 2 4h 10h. He trippled my bet. I re-raised and he went all in for about 1200 more.

I was never so sure he had 10s in my life. But I play with this guy a lot.

is this thread set over set stories now?

Exactly ONCE I was going to check-fold my set - bottom set.

From the time the guy called my re-raise to the time the turn card came out I just kept thinking about, "its just bottom set, check/fold, its just bottom set - get over it - pretty sure you're beat here."

I turned my quads and got over it.

...maybe I'm better than Elezra?...

j/k
